About automatic detection

The “Try automatic detection” button uses the browser APIs that genuinely exist — WebGL's renderer string, the reported CPU thread count and a coarse memory hint. It cannot read your exact CPU model, your true RAM total or your free disk space, because browsers do not expose those. Anything we cannot detect is labelled clearly rather than filled in with a guess.

A desktop companion or browser extension could read the rest. The checker is built against a shared interface so one can be added later without changing how any of this works.
